Privacy Policy — CareerGuide
CareerGuide (“the tool”) is the paid, interactive part of AI-Proof Your Career by LearnSmartStuffs, a brand operated by Globelts Private Ltd, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 13G, Sector 8, Jasola, New Delhi 110025, India (“we”, “us”). This page explains exactly what we store, why, and how you can get it deleted. We deliberately keep what we hold to a minimum.
What we store
- Your email address. Used to identify your account so your access and your saved work follow you across devices, and to send you login links and your purchase confirmation.
- Your career self-assessment (“your progress”). The occupation you select, the tasks you log and how you tag/weight them, your roadmap check-offs, and anything you type into the resume/ interview scripts. This is stored so you can leave and come back without losing your work.
- A record of your purchase entitlement. That you bought access, plus the PayPal transaction reference — kept to grant access and for order records and payment reversals (e.g. chargebacks). We do not store your card, bank, or full payment details; PayPal processes the payment and we never see them.
What we do not do
- We don’t sell or rent your data.
- We don’t use your self-assessment for advertising or share it with third parties for their own use.
- We don’t store payment-card information.
Service providers we use
- Cloudflare — hosts the app and the database where your account and progress are stored (encrypted at rest).
- PayPal — processes your payment. See PayPal’s own privacy policy for how they handle it.
- Resend — sends the transactional emails (login links, purchase confirmation).
- O*NET / U.S. Department of Labor — the source of the occupation data the tool shows you. We send your selected occupation to look up public data; we don’t send them your identity.
Your controls
- Export. Download everything we hold for your account as a JSON file from your Account page.
- Delete. Delete your account and all saved progress at any time from the Account page. This is immediate and permanent.
- Access on request. Contact us and we’ll help with any data request the export/delete tools don’t cover.
Payments & refunds
CareerGuide is a one-time digital purchase that unlocks immediate access to the full interactive tool. Because it's delivered instantly and in full, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. Please use the free preview and the information on the sales page to decide before buying. Full terms are in the Terms & Conditions.
Retention
We keep your account and progress for as long as your account exists, so the tool still works when you come back — we don’t automatically delete inactive accounts. When you delete your account, everything tied to it goes with it: your saved progress, your entitlement record, and your email address. One-time login links expire after 15 minutes, and expired login records are cleared automatically as new links are issued.
